What a steal!

I love discount stores. In the world of shopping, nothing tops getting cool stuff for a small price (except getting cool stuff for free!). Garden Ridge is now on the top of my list. I found so many things I wanted to buy. My husband said he didn't want to go because he knows he's a sucker and would end up buying me everything I desired, but I was good... and only convinced him to buy 1/100th of what I really wanted.

Look at those cool soup bowls I forget the price, but they were a little under two bucks each. The casserole dish was only FOUR bucks, and the Junior Cook Book (which hasn't changed since the 1950's) was about seven dollars. What a steal, right?

Speaking of stealing, here's one of the wee ones that stole my heart (and more of his piano playing antics).

Maybe he's the next Mozart?

We used to have a Garden Ridge not too far from us, but it closed down. I got some really nice wall hangings for the dining room from there. Check them out at Christmas time - they have the most beautiful decorations at really great prices.
